Last Saturday our annual family day of work held at Kasteel Limbricht. Beautiful location, welcoming welcome, fun activities and great food and drink. The percussion workshop is highly recommended!! Friendly staff, everything neatly taken care of, we lacked nothing, wonderfully enjoyed!! We will definitely be back. Compliments to the whole team!!
My wife and I joined three local friends for a sumptuous dinner at Langford Kasteel Limbricht Saturday evening. We had the Chef’s Special tasting menu, a three course dinner served family style. Everyone loved the courses ( see photos!) This Restaurant is located in an historic Castle. It is a “destination” restaurant—worth driving out of your way!
I actually have only "visited" Kasteel Limbricht remotely (thus far), but I intend to join my boyfriend there as soon as possible! And OFTEN!
My boyfriend (from Belgium) is currently working in The Netherlands, and once he discovered this place, it quickly became his #1 go-to spot - for the food, drinks, service, and definitely the ambiance! He had sent me photos and video, telling me to hurry up and get over there (from the U.S.) to visit him, even suggesting that I surprise him and be waiting for him there one day after work! (which I very well might do!!!).
On Valentine's Day, even though I couldn't be there, I wanted to give him a little surprise, and suspected he would be going there after work - which he did. I had e-mailed the restaurant (Stephanie), explaining that IF my boyfriend arrived, I would like for them to take something to his table (it was a Sambuca, an Italian liqueur - something special to him and me), and say "Happy Valentine's Day from Laurie" (me). To say that they were more than accommodating is an understatement! Stephanie immediately called me, and was so incredibly nice. She confirmed that he was there, and she personally took it to him immediately. I even was on the phone with him when she took it out and told him - such a special moment between two people 5,000 miles apart on Valentine's Day - thanks to Kasteel Limbricht, and Stephanie in particular!
Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous (from at least the photos and what Guenter has told me - see photos I am posting), and the food and drinks are great (again, see photos), but they have made visiting there an experience for Guenter - as it will be for me as well, hopefully one day very soon.

Booked to stay here for one night as driving through Europe. Totally did not expect such an amazing place. We stayed in the pink room with a jacuzzi and super comfortable beds. Dinner was made specially as we were late arriving and the chef went over and above to create a vegetarian meal, it was so luxurious and tasty, thank you! In the morning we went for a long walk, it is just stunning there. I hope to pass through in the future and will definitely stay there again then.
