From Carboon to Janse Bagge...


On Sunday 9 November we will be welcoming two icons of Limburg music: Henk Steijvers and Thijs van Thoor. Together they will perform an intimate and captivating theatre concert in the unique setting of Limbricht Castle – complete with Limburg hospitality, snacks and drinks.

In the first part, Henk and Thijs take you back to the time of the mines. Classics by Carboon come to life once more, recognisable and still as poignant as ever. After the interval, the finest listening songs by the Janse Bagge Bend follow – songs that continue to move and prove surprisingly relevant.

An afternoon full of music, stories and atmosphere in the castle.

Programme:

  • 13:30 – Reception with coffee and Limburg flan in the Great Hall of Limbricht Castle

  • 2.30 pm - Theatre concert part 1: Carboon in a unique castle setting

  • 3.15 pm – Pause with a glass of wine, soft drink or our own brewed beer, accompanied by rye bread with Limburg ham, cheese or bacon and egg

  • 16:00 – Theatre concert part 2: listening songs by Janse Bagge in castle ambiance

  • 16:45 – Closing drink reception, including 2 drinks of your choice and delicious nibbles
