At Kasteel Limbricht you can enjoy a renewed high tea, in which taste, variety and presentation are in perfect balance. In the atmospheric Tasting Room, or outside on the terrace with a view of the castle, we serve an afternoon that feels like a small getaway in itself. Refined, surprising and above all extremely delicious.
Our high tea has been carefully curated and offers a lovely balance between savoury and sweet, featuring familiar flavours and subtle surprises.
What you can expect:
- A warm start with a fresh cup of soup
- A varied selection of savoury bites and luxury filled rolls
- Freshly baked scones with jam and creamy clotted cream
- A refined selection of sweet treats and patisserie
- An extra warm savoury snack as a surprising element
- Naturally, unlimited tea, served with fresh mint, ginger, and lemon
Our high tea costs €34.50 per person (children £17.50 p.p.). Various types of tea are included in the price, but other drinks will be charged based on consumption.

Not only do we offer delicious fresh products and a variety of teas in a beautiful natural setting, but you can also combine the high tea with us fun activities for a complete afternoon out. Castle Limbricht offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable baby shower or baby shower combined with a sophisticated afternoon tea. Let yourselves be pampered with a selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats, served on porcelain tableware, while you enjoy the cosy ambience. Whether you are celebrating a baby shower or organising a welcome drink for a newborn, Kasteel Limbricht offers a unique experience.
If after the luxurious afternoon tea you feel like doing something active, you can also visit Kasteel Limbricht for fun group activities. Not only can you go on wonderful walks with us, but we also offer kick-bike tours and driving tours through Limburg. Moreover, you can take part in a workshop here, such as a percussion or grill workshop. Have you had enough tea, but still fancy a nice drink? Then why not try our beer or wine tasting experience with your group. Delicious and educational!
Frequently asked questions
We can our High Tea vegetarian, pregnancy-safe, gluten-free and lactose-free offer. For other allergies or dietary requirements, we are unfortunately unable to adjust the composition. Would you like to know which items are suitable for you? Please feel free to contact us via post.
At least 24 hours in advance. The earlier you book, the more chance you have of getting a spot. Fully booked is fully booked.
Yes, of course! As long as it doesn't cause a nuisance for other guests, you are free to decorate your table festively. Please let us know when making your reservation, and we will ensure the table is ready on time (this can be at the latest an hour before your reservation, by arrangement). We only ask that you do not use confetti, nails and/or drawing pins, and that you do not attach anything to the walls. As a venue, we cannot lend out tools and/or ladders.
You enjoy an extensive selection, including:
• A warm start with a fresh cup of soup
• Savoury bites to start the meal off at a leisurely pace – from well-filled sandwiches to light, fresh combinations
• Freshly baked scones with jam and creamy clotted cream
• A selection of sweet treats that are just that little bit different from what you're used to
• Macarons and small desserts to finish it off
• A warm savoury bite as a surprising finale
• And of course: good tea, served with fresh mint
Other drinks are not included and will be charged based on consumption.
Payment takes place after the High Tea. Would you prefer to pay by invoice (if it concerns a corporate booking)? Please indicate this with your reservation and send your billing details in advance by email.
That is certainly possible! When the weather is nice, we are happy to accommodate your preference to sit outside. Should the weather turn, we will ensure that a lovely table is ready for you inside.
We would like to receive any changes to your reservation by email no later than 24 hours in advance.
The High Tea can be reserved for 2 or more people. There is no maximum number of guests – larger groups are also very welcome. Groups of up to 8 people can book via the widget. Groups of 9 or more must use the form at the bottom of this page.
