The terrace of Limbricht Castle is one of the finest in Limburg. It is not without reason that in 2020 we received the title “Finest terrace of Limburg’ and that we are still mentioned in the top ten of finest terraces in Limburg by Visit South Limburg. Our courtyard is cosier and more atmospheric than ever! In addition, you can enjoy our very own castle beer here, which you will not find anywhere else. Besides having a terrace on the waters of Limburg, our terrace is also very naturally situated. Opposite the castle you will find the Landschapspark de Lemborgh with approximately five hectares of attractively landscaped greenery.

Drinking a unique beer on our exceptional terrace

A visit to the most beautiful terrace in Limburg is special in itself, but drinking a unique beer here is truly the crème de la crème of your experience. At Kasteel Limbricht you will find a castle beer, which is brewed right here in the castle. This Salvius beer is a full-bodied beer with a slightly sweet taste. Yet this beer also has a malty mouthfeel and a spicy finish. Naturally, our beer menu also includes other types of beer. Blonde, dark or fruity beer; we have something for everyone.

Visit to the Tasting Room

Caught out by a sudden Dutch downpour? Then you are welcome to step inside Het Proeflokaal, located right next to our terrace. In this atmospheric restaurant, you will have a wonderful view of the terrace and the surrounding area. You can visit Het Proeflokaal from ten o'clock in the morning onwards for a cup of coffee. You can also enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks here. You will find a wide variety of dishes, daily fresh produce and ingredients from our own greenhouse and herb garden.

High tea on a waterfront terrace

Always wanted to high tea Fancy a drink or a bite to eat on a waterfront terrace in Limburg? At Het Proeflokaal and the nearby terrace you can also enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with a wonderful view! You can book an afternoon tea for two people or more, and it takes about two hours, priced at €29.50 per person. Look out over the characteristic castle moat and main castle while enjoying your tasty treats and cups of tea.
