The beating heart of Limbricht Castle is the Tasting Room. From 10:00 we serve a pleasant cup of coffee or tea, whether or not brewed from freshly picked herbs. From 12:00 enjoy your lunch in a hearty style. From homemade soups to fresh salads, as well as fresh flans and filled slices of castle bread, are part of the light menu. Enjoy a good glass of wine or a draught beer and taste the various dishes of the sharing dinner. Dogs are only allowed on the terrace.

Our terrace is open daily from 10:00. You are most welcome for a cup of coffee and a delicious slice of Limburg flan.
Between 12:00 and 17:00 we serve a tasty lunch.
From 5 pm you can enjoy an alfresco dinner. Feel free to come whenever it suits you – you do not need to start precisely at 5 pm.

Between the Tasting Room And on the terrace is our very own herb garden. Here, we grow a variety of herbs that are actually used in our own dishes. Every day, you’ll see our chef tending to the herbs, snipping them, smelling them and tasting them. It’s ideal and inspiring for the kitchen! After all, it’s all about flavour, aroma, tasting and innovation. As soon as you take a seat on the terrace amongst the herb pots, the scents of the herbs will greet you.

A brewery opened at Limbricht Castle Estate in 2018 in collaboration with Ambrass Brewery. This is where genuine "castle beer" is brewed.  The first beer produced here is named after Saint Salvius and the nearby Salvius Chapel, and was officially ‘christened’ in the Salvius Chapel on 5 May 2018. This unique beer is now available at Limbricht Castle. Highly recommended for beer lovers, and with its accompanying glass and gift box, it also makes an excellent present!
