Welcome
The beating heart of Limbricht Castle is the Proeflokaal. From 10:00, we serve a pleasant cup of coffee or tea, whether or not brewed from freshly picked herbs. In addition, you can enjoy our Burgundian lunch in the Proeflokaal. Think of fresh salads, but also fresh flans and filled slices of castle bread. Have a good glass of wine or a draught beer in the afternoon or end the day with us over dinner. Take a look at our menu in advance and visit our Proeflokaal.

Het Proeflokaal offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy a delicious Burgundian lunch. We have an extensive lunch menu featuring daily fresh and local produce. Furthermore, the lunch can easily be combined with one of our walks or other activities. Our terrace was named the finest in Limburg in 2020, and for good reason. We offer both sunny and shady spots, and you can enjoy a breathtaking view during your visit.
Alongside an extensive lunch, you can also dine with us. We have an accessible menu and use produce from our own garden in our dishes. After your activity, you can also choose to have drinks at the Tasting Room. We have space for both large and small groups.
Dogs are not allowed in the tasting room. However, dogs are welcome on the terrace. Inside, outside the tasting room, we have a separate seating area where guests with dogs can sit.

High tea at a special location
Also make our unique afternoon tea me, where we serve a wide selection of fresh teas. You start the high tea with a soup beforehand and then enjoy scones with homemade cream, various types of jam, savoury mini-rolls, tramezzini, wraps and various petit fours. The high tea can be booked for 2 people or more and lasts approximately 2 hours. The cost per person is €34.50.
Castle beer from a real castle
A brewery has recently been established in Limbricht Castle. Here, in collaboration with Brouwerij Ambrass own craft beers brewed. Whether you are a fan of blonde, dark or fruity beer, there is something for everyone. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and taste the rich history of Limbricht Castle in every sip. Our beer is available on tap, in bottles or as a gift pack.
